Lucho Suárez, a Chilean-born, Argentine-raised Creative Director at State, an award-winning animation and design studio that is redefining visual storytelling. Since relocating to Los Angeles to join State, Lucho has infused his animation expertise and innovative approach into leading projects that continually push the boundaries of creativity.
Commencing his career in 2007 as an animator specializing in broadcast, Lucho established a solid background in motion design and dynamic storytelling, with a particular emphasis on 2D animation. His recent endeavors have seamlessly transitioned into the realm of 3D animation, as he combines various techniques to produce cutting-edge and inventive visuals.
Under Lucho's direction, projects at State have garnered prestigious accolades from industry leaders such as Webby, Clio, Promax, GEMA, Collision Awards, and D&AD. His collaborations have extended to renowned brands including Nickelodeon, FX, Apple, Snapchat, Netflix, Meta, and various others.
Noteworthy among his achievements is Lucho's significant contribution to Graphika's 20th-year branding, where his creative vision and expertise played a crucial role in defining the celebratory theme, promising fresh perspectives.
